The Bently Nevada 3500/42 is a high-performance 4-channel monitor module designed for the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It serves as a universal interface for both non-contacting proximity sensors and seismic transducers (accelerometers or velocity sensors). This module continuously processes vibration and position signals, comparing them against user-defined alarm setpoints to drive automated machinery shutdowns and protect critical rotating assets from catastrophic failure.
