Product Overview

The Yokogawa SDV144-S33 is a high-reliability, 16-channel digital input module specifically engineered for use within the ProSafe-RS Safety Instrumented System (SIS). This module is designed to interface with non-voltage contact signals (dry contacts) from field-side safety devices such as emergency stop buttons, flame detectors, and limit switches. By providing SIL3-level safety integrity (when used in a redundant configuration), the SDV144-S33 ensures that critical process data is acquired with the highest degree of diagnostic coverage and fault tolerance.

Integrated into the FIO (Field Interface Orbus) architecture, the SDV144-S33 excels in environments where rapid response and electrical isolation are non-negotiable. Its robust circuitry is built to filter out industrial noise while maintaining a fast scan cycle, making it an essential component for Burner Management Systems (BMS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), and Fire and Gas Systems (FGS).
