The Yokogawa ADV151-P53 S2 is a high-density 32-channel Digital Input Module engineered for the CENTUM VP Distributed Control System (DCS). Functioning within the FIO (Field Interface Orbus) architecture, this module provides the essential interface for monitoring discrete field states, such as pushbuttons, limit switches, and relay contacts. The "P53" specification denotes a high-reliability variant featuring pressure-clamp terminals and specific protection circuits suitable for mission-critical industrial signal acquisition.

Designed to deliver precision and stability, the ADV151-P53 S2 converts external 24V DC binary signals into digital data for the Field Control Station (FCS). This allows for rapid logic execution and sequence control in large-scale plants. By utilizing advanced galvanic isolation, the module shields the internal DCS bus from electrical noise and potential surges originating from the field wiring.
