This module is specifically designed to interface with various thermocouple types and low-voltage signal sources, converting sensitive thermal and millivolt data into digital information for process control logic. With 16 independently isolated channels, the AAT145-S53 S1 provides exceptional protection against common-mode noise and ground loops, ensuring high-fidelity signal acquisition in heavy industrial environments where temperature precision is critical for product quality and safety.

Versatile Input Range and Support The hardware supports a wide range of standard thermocouples (such as Type K, J, T, E, R, S, B, and N) and millivolt inputs. It operates within a standard input voltage allowance of ±140 mV for TC measurements and can handle up to ±5V for broader signal ranges. Integrated cold-junction compensation ensures that temperature readings remain accurate despite fluctuations in the ambient temperature at the terminal block.


Advanced Diagnostic Capabilities Equipped with burnout detection for every channel, the AAT145-S53 S1 can immediately identify a broken thermocouple wire. This diagnostic feature prevents control loops from acting on frozen or erroneous data, allowing for safer fail-state transitions and faster maintenance response.

Hazardous Area Versatility The S53 suffix indicates specific configuration options for explosion protection, allowing the module to be utilized in various safety-rated environments.
