The HIMA F3 DIO 16/8 01 is a high-integrity safety remote I/O module designed to facilitate decentralized safety control within the HIMatrix and HIMax ecosystem. This module allows engineers to extend the reach of their Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) by placing I/O points closer to field instrumentation while maintaining high-speed communication via the safeethernet protocol. Encased in a durable metal housing, the F3 DIO 16/8 01 is engineered for critical applications where localized signal processing and fail-safe output control are mandatory.

The module is uniquely suited for demanding sectors, including railway safety (up to SIL 4) and hazardous process industries. Its architecture supports distributed intelligence, ensuring that field data is acquired and transmitted with the highest level of diagnostic coverage and deterministic timing.
