Electromagnetic Compliance (EMC)

The FC-051 includes a built-in RFI filter that minimizes radio frequency interference. To ensure full compliance with EMC directives, utilize shielded motor cables and ensure the shield makes 360-degree contact with the metal mounting plate using the provided EMC decoupling plate. This prevents electrical noise from disrupting nearby low-voltage sensor signals.

Thermal Management and Airflow

While side-by-side mounting is supported, maintain a vertical clearance of at least 100 mm above and below the drive. This clearance ensures that the natural convection and internal fan can effectively exhaust heat. For installations in small enclosures, ensure the ambient temperature does not exceed 50 °C to avoid thermal derating.

Motor Adaptation (AMA)
