Media Filtration and Quality

While the direct-acting design is less sensitive to debris than pilot-operated versions, we strongly recommend installing a 50-micron strainer upstream. Foreign particles can lodge between the seat and the seal, causing internal leakage or preventing the armature from seating correctly.

Although the EV210B functions in any mounting position, installing the valve with the coil in the upright vertical position minimizes the risk of dirt and calcification accumulating in the armature tube.
