Technical Inquiries

Q: Is the 3300/61 compatible with 3300 XL proximity probes?

A: No. This monitor is designed for velocity transducer inputs (mV/in/s). It is not compatible with eddy-current proximity probes.

Q: Does this module support hot-swap replacement?

A: No. The module must be installed and removed with the rack de-energized to prevent backplane damage and false alarms.

Q: What is the required backplane current?

A: At 24 VDC, the module draws approximately 0.5 A to 0.8 A. Verify the rack power supply capacity before installation.

Terminate the shield drain wire at the rack ground bus only. Verify transducer polarity with a tap test before enabling monitoring logic.
