The Bently Nevada 991-25-50-03-05 is a compact, loop-powered signal conditioner engineered specifically for monitoring axial shaft position in rotating machinery. Unlike traditional rack-mounted systems, this 2-wire transmitter integrates Proximitor technology directly into a field-mountable housing. It accepts inputs from 3300 NSv proximity probes and converts the eddy current signal into a standardized 4–20 mA output proportional to thrust displacement. This allows for direct integration with PLCs or DCS control systems, making it an ideal choice for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) of centrifugal air compressors, high-speed pumps, and industrial fans where space and cost-efficiency are paramount.
