Gap Voltage and Probe Alignment Characteristics

The 31000 housing assembly maintains mechanical positioning stability for eddy-current proximity probes during rotor vibration monitoring. Proper probe sleeve positioning is required to maintain acceptable gap voltage targets during transducer calibration procedures.

For 3300 XL probe systems, incorrect penetration depth or excessive side-view exposure inside the machine case may distort the linearity of the eddy-current field. Probe penetration lengths between 1.0 in and 2.0 in may require machine case counter boring to minimize side-view effects.

Cross-talk suppression between adjacent transducer channels depends on maintaining proper cable routing separation and shield continuity through the housing assembly and conduit fittings.
