The Bently Nevada 190501-07-00-04 is a high-precision Velomitor CT (Cooling Tower) velocity transducer specifically calibrated for seismic vibration monitoring of low-speed rotating machinery. While standard velocity sensors often lose accuracy at lower frequencies, the Velomitor CT is engineered to capture casing vibration on equipment operating as low as 90 RPM. This makes it the industry standard for monitoring large-diameter fans in cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchangers (fin-fans).

This transducer utilizes solid-state piezoelectric technology to convert vibration velocity into an electrical signal. Unlike moving-coil sensors, it has no internal moving parts to wear out, ensuring a long service life in the high-humidity, corrosive environments typical of cooling tower applications. The 190501-07-00-04 configuration features a 3/8-24 UNF mounting stud and is designed for seamless integration with Bently Nevada 3500 and 2300 monitoring systems.
