This critical interface module facilitates the command and feedback loop between the digital control processors and electro-hydraulic servo valves used to regulate fuel and steam flow. By integrating bi-directional current outputs with LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) feedback processing, the IS200TSVOH1BDC ensures that turbine valves are positioned with millisecond accuracy. It serves as the physical landing point for field wiring, supporting both Simplex and Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architectures to meet the highest safety and availability standards in power generation.

High-Density Feedback Integration Each control loop on the IS200TSVOH1BDC can process up to six LVDT valve position inputs. This allows the system to utilize median or high-select voting logic, ensuring that a single sensor failure does not disrupt the precise regulation of turbine steam or fuel intake.

Flexible Redundancy SupportThe hardware is designed for both Simplex and TMR configurations. In Simplex mode, it connects via the JR1 plug, while TMR setups utilize JR1, JS1, and JT1 to interface with R, S, and T processors. It supports multi-coil servos, accommodating up to three coils per output channel in redundant configurations.


Extended Field Connectivity Engineered for large-scale industrial sites, the board supports a maximum two-way cable resistance of 15 ohms. This allows for reliable signal transmission over cable lengths reaching up to 300 meters (984 feet), providing flexibility in the placement of control cabinets relative to the turbine skid.

Hardware-Based Protection and GroundingThe board includes JD1 and JD2 external trip plugs that link directly to the protection module for emergency shutdown. Two 24-point terminal blocks accept up to #12 AWG wiring, while adjacent shield termination strips provide a dedicated low-impedance path for cable shields to prevent electromagnetic interference.
