AutomationDirect Expands Productivity2000 With New I/O and Structured Text
AutomationDirect is expanding the capabilities of its Productivity2000 PLC platform with a new group of I/O modules and software updates aimed at increasing control density while giving machine builders more flexibility in application development.
The latest additions include combination DC input and output modules, a 16-point solid-state relay output module, and isolated analog input modules. At the software level, AutomationDirect has added Structured Text support to Productivity Suite, alongside user-defined instruction libraries and a new Delta contact function for detecting changes between PLC scans.

The Productivity2000 occupies the middle position within AutomationDirect’s Productivity PLC family, between the compact Productivity1000 and the larger Productivity3000.
