The ICS Triplex TC-501-02-6M5 is a high-integrity 6-meter (approximately 20-foot) SmartSlot interface cable engineered for the Trusted® series safety controller platform. This heavy-duty cable is designed to provide a secure, fail-safe communication link between Trusted I/O modules housed in the main chassis and their respective Field Termination Assemblies (FTAs). It is a critical component in Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) systems, where maintaining absolute signal purity and physical connection security is mandatory for Emergency Shutdown (ESD) and Fire and Gas (F&G) logic.

Constructed to withstand the rigors of mission-critical environments such as nuclear power facilities and offshore oil platforms, the TC-501-02-6M5 manages the high-density routing of up to 40 independent signal channels. Its design focuses on total electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), utilizing advanced shielding techniques to eliminate external interference that could otherwise trigger false trips or signal degradation in safety-instrumented systems (SIS).
