The ICS Triplex T8451 is a high-integrity, 40-channel digital output module designed for the Trusted™ Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) system. Engineered specifically for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and critical Distributed Control System (DCS) architectures, the T8451 provides the fault-tolerant switching necessary for solenoids, relays, and other 24V DC actuators. By utilizing triplicated internal hardware and 2-out-of-3 (2oo3) voting logic, this module ensures that a single hardware failure will not lead to a false trip or a failure to perform a safety function.

Designed for high-availability environments, the T8451 manages complex field logic while performing continuous background diagnostics. It is a vital component in mission-critical applications such as Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire and Gas (F&G) systems, and turbine protection, where the cost of unplanned downtime or safety compromise is extreme.
