Product Overview

The GE Fanuc IC220PBI002 is a PROFIBUS-DP network interface module for the VersaPoint distributed I/O platform. It is used to connect a VersaPoint I/O station to a PROFIBUS-DP control network as a slave device, enabling cyclic I/O exchange between a PROFIBUS master and the installed VersaPoint modules on the local bus.

Designed for high-speed fieldbus environments, this interface supports PROFIBUS communication rates up to 12 Mbit/s and can map station I/O data for deterministic control.
