The Triconex 3805E is a high-integrity Analog Output (AO) module specifically designed for the Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture of the Tricon safety system. This module provides 8 independent channels of 4-20 mA current signals, primarily used to drive final control elements such as control valves, actuators, and variable speed drives. By executing a continuous 2-out-of-three (2oo3) voting process across three isolated internal circuits, the 3805E ensures that command signals remain precise even in the event of an internal hardware failure. It is a critical component for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) requiring high-availability analog control where signal deviation could lead to process instability or hazardous conditions.
