Rack Communication Architecture

The 3500/92 operates as a communication interface between the 3500 rack internal data network and external host systems. It does not perform vibration measurement or channel processing. Instead, it retrieves processed information from other 3500 monitoring modules and transfers the available data through configured communication interfaces.

The module receives rack information through the internal high-speed network, including:

  • Current measured values from installed monitor modules
  • Time-stamped measurement data
  • Module status information
  • Current alarm conditions

The data acquisition interval depends on the rack configuration. The complete rack data collection cycle does not exceed 1 second.

The front module provides status indication through:

  • OK LED: Indicates normal module operation
  • TX/RX LED: Indicates communication activity with the 3500 rack
