The Allen-Bradley 2094-BC04-M03-S is a high-performance Integrated Axis Module (IAM) belonging to the Kinetix® 6000 multi-axis servo drive family. This dual-purpose module serves as the foundational unit for a motion control system, housing both the converter (rectifier) and the initial inverter (drive) logic in a single compact chassis. Engineered for 400V-class power systems, the 2094-BC04-M03-S provides the regulated DC bus voltage necessary to power subsequent Adjacent Axis Modules (AM) across the shared power rail.

By consolidating power conversion and axis control, the 2094-BC04-M03-S simplifies panel layout and reduces wiring complexity. This specific model features built-in "Safe Torque Off" (STO) functionality, meeting ISO 13849-1 standards to ensure that drive energy is removed from the motor during safety events without fully powering down the logic, allowing for faster machine restarts.

The 2094-BC04-M03-S is optimized for precision multi-axis synchronization in demanding industrial environments.

  • Integrated Conversion Logic: Functions as the primary power gate for the drive system, accepting three-phase AC input and converting it to a stable DC bus for all connected axes.

  • Safety Compliance: Features integrated "Safe Torque Off" circuitry, which prevents the drive from generating torque-producing power during an E-stop or safety gate breach.

  • Peak Current Flexibility: Series B and C iterations of this module offer an enhanced peak current rating of 250%, providing the overhead required for high-acceleration "peak-and-hold" motion profiles.

  • Intelligent Power Dissipation: Managed thermal performance with a dissipation range of 94W at 20% load up to 255W at full 100% capacity.

  • Flexible Grounding: Includes a pre-installed ground jumper suitable for grounded wye power systems, which can be reconfigured for ungrounded or high-impedance configurations.
